KEY ACTIONS

One of the most important actions on the façade was to restore the balconies, as the exterior structure was in an advanced state of decomposition. Reinforcements were made using metal plates along the entire girder web, as well as installing new metal joists to make the base for the new mensaques (a type of tile).

The loose plaster was then chipped off to apply lime mortar and silicate paint over the entire façade.

The exterior joinery was also restored with a sanding and stripping process following by painting, using the colours specified by Malaga City Council's Renovation Department.

In the courtyards we installed new risers to supply water to the apartments, as instructed by the Municipal Water Company.
